01The family

What does the Security family do at CryptoMize?

The security family is the technical edge of the Policing Phronesis pillar — forensics and consultancy fused, in the old framing that happens to be accurate. Offensive roles break things on permission: web, mobile, and network surfaces tested under contract. Defensive and forensic roles pick up what failed: incident investigation, artifact analysis, reverse engineering of what the attacker left. The family’s standard is evidence-grade work — findings a client can act on and, where it comes to that, defend.

Every test runs scoped and authorized; every finding is written to evidence standard. The toolbench is real — Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Kali, Wireshark, Ghidra — and the methodology discipline behind it is what the internship trains first.

WHAT SKILLS DOES THE SECURITY FAMILY NEED?

Networking fundamentals — TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and where they break

Linux fluency and command-line comfort

Scripting basics — Python or Bash for tooling and automation

OWASP Top 10 literacy — the vulnerability classes and their mechanics

Forensic mindset — evidence handling and chain of custody

Report writing — the finding a client can act on

Ethics — authorization boundaries are absolute

Curiosity driven by methodology, not chaos

Security Internships — frequently asked questions

A26 tracks — Penetration Tester, Ethical Hacker, Cyber Forensics Expert, Reverse Engineer, and Information Security Analyst.

All are 6-month certified programs at our New Delhi HQ on a rolling intake.

AScoped, authorized testing and investigation on real client engagements under supervision — web and network surfaces, forensic artifacts, and the reports clients act on — with the toolbench (Burp, Nmap, Kali, Ghidra) in daily use.

ANo — fundamentals decide.

Networking, Linux, and scripting basics plus OWASP literacy get you in; certifications help but the screening task is practical.

ACompensation is discussed during screening and depends on demonstrated skill, engagement classification, urgency, and track record.

We deliberately do not publish figures — each intern is evaluated individually.

AEntirely — every test runs scoped and contracted, every finding documented to evidence standard.

The ethics line is absolute: authorization boundaries are the first thing the program trains.
