01The actual work
What will you actually do as a Network Administrator at CryptoMize?
Own day-to-day operation of the production network — switching, routing, firewalling, and VPN termination carrying encrypted client traffic
Administer and evolve the segmentation architecture: VLANs, ACLs, and policy reviewed as security decisions first and performance decisions second
Run the monitoring regime behind the uptime record — thresholds, alerting, and the diagnosis discipline that turns pages into post-incident notes
Execute change management properly: proposed, documented, windowed, and rolled back cleanly when needed
Operate backup, restore, and disaster-recovery procedures with scheduled rehearsal, not quarterly hope
Diagnose at packet level when the dashboard disagrees with reality — Wireshark-grade forensics on our own infrastructure
Harden continuously: patch cadence, configuration baselines, and the least-privilege instinct an intelligence organization requires
Contribute to the infrastructure standards themselves — the runbooks, baseline configurations, and recovery procedures the whole layer inherits
Maintain the diagnostic discipline the layer depends on — physical-layer-upward isolation before configuration changes, post-incident documentation honest enough to learn from, and the runbooks that make both repeatable
